He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Vincent "S. V." Tilley and Gladys Mabel Tilley; his wife Susan Gail Phagan Tilley; his siblings, Joe Tilley and Jane Tilley; and his sister-in-law Ann Tilley.
He is survived by: his son Derrick Tilley (Cassie); his grandchildren, Tana Hulsey (Patrick), Lauren Tilley and Maddie Tilley; his great grandchildren, Dawson Hulsey and Evie Hulsey; his brother Mack Tilley; and his sister-in-law Betty Jane Tilley. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Foundation Christian School, 160 Springdale Road, Rockmart, GA 30153 in memory of Mr. Tilley.
