He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Griffis; his grandchildren, Braxtyn Smith and Aliyah Smith; and his siblings, Penny Crumbley (Donald), Robin Griffis, Billie Sue Godwin, Daryl Griffis (Roxane) and Ricky Griffis (Peggy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
