She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Tuck Nance and Samuel Thomas Nance; her husband Bill J. Strickland of Luverne, Alabama.; and her brother Sam Nance of Arlington. She is survived by: her children, Jane Strickland Blair (John) of Beaufort, S. C. and Billy Strickland of Albany; her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Nance of Jacksonville, Fla. and Trubie Merle Strickland of Luverne, Ala.; and her nieces and nephews, Janet Nance Faulkner (Stan) of Jacksonville, Fla., Susan Callaway Anderson of Athens, Michael Strickland (Catie) of Troy, Ala., Jimmy Callaway (Mona) of Shellman and Tom Nance (Robin) of Marietta. She is also survived by many great-nieces and -nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arlington Baptist Church, where Eugenia Strickland was the longest-serving member.
