She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Cecil Bone and Jessie Marie Williams Bone; and her siblings, Doris Haney and H. K. Bone. She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Ann Atkins; and her sisters, Sue Penny and Mildred Aubrey (John).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chickamauga City Cemetery West Memorial.
