It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander James Rager of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Arlyn Rus. He is survived by: his parents, Jonathan Rager and Kathleen Rager; his siblings, Jordan, Katelyn Rager, Jack, Sean and Scott Rager; and his grandmothers, Claire Rus and Jane Rager. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Broken Shackle Ranch in Davisboro, GA or to Athens Humane Society.
