She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harris and Lorine Shields Harris; her grandson Doc Eric McCoy, Jr.; Barbara Vanette Raines, Loran McCoy and Beverly McCoy.
She is survived by: her sons, Doc McCoy of Waveland, MS and Kenneth McCoy (Orlencia) of Athens, GA; her son-in-law Julius Raines; her brother James Harris (Pat) of California; her brother-in-law Walter McCoy (Yvonne) of Columbia, SC; and her adoptive daughters, Regina Whitehurst and Brenda Kirvin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
