With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Austin (Athens, Georgia), born in Walhalla, South Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bobbie Austin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Louis Sims and Pearl Gladys Barnett Sims. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Austin Vardi of Chapin, SC, Melinda Austin Ward (Michael) of Bogart and Robert Marshall Austin (Angela) of Acworth; and her sisters, Grace Kane of Houston, TX and Ann Brown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Monroe-Walton Art Center, 205 S Broad St, Monroe, GA 30655.
