She was predeceased by: her parents, W. J. "Jimmy" Beasley and Geraldine Beasley; her half-sister Linda B. Johnson; and her pet Buddy. She is survived by: her daughters, Fran Burke (Jonathan) and Erin Strader; her grandchildren, Emily Burke, Paul Burke, Alaric Burke, Ashley Tomlin (Evan), Zoe Estella and Sergio Estella III; her cousins, Michael Todd (Lynn), Sandi Jackson and Gloria Lolley; her brother Chris Beasley (Helen); her half-sister Elizabeth McGovern; and her pet Bay-Bay. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
The family asks that memorial donations be made in Carol's honor to Redux Equine Rescue in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, supporting the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses, a cause that reflected Carol's lifelong love of animals.
