He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Dewberry; his mother Ida Mae Dewberry; his former wife Christine Sutton Dewberry; his children, Mary Ann Dewberry, Kizzy Nicole Dewberry, Clarence Dewberry, Jr., Tyrone Marice Dewberry, Shondra Marie Dewberry and Orlando "Yola" Green; his siblings, Ella Mae Bray, Dianne Alford, Delouise Thompson, Josephine Ross (Ray), Morris Dewberry, Lamont Dewberry and James Dewberry; his uncle Eddie Dewberry; and his daughter-in-law Thania Jackson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home (1253 W Broad St, Athens, GA 30606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (100 Buddy Christian Way, Athens, GA 30606). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
