He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Paten; his children, Scott A. Paten (Kitty), Jacqueline Mitchell (Dale) and Brent Hunter Paten; and his grandchildren, Carly, Devan, Drew, Garrett and Avery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggest donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Georgia Wildlife Federation in memory of Claude A. Paten.
