Steve Noble lit a candle

“In loving memory of Dr. Clyde Noble, I want to let everyone know how much he is missed. He was truly a renaissance man who served for 40 years split between the Army and USAF, a Professor , Researcher at The University of Georgia, Band Leader and Father / friend. During WW2, he was a bugler, translator with Italian prisoners, and platoon leader for combat engineers on Okinawa, and served during the Korean War. He went on to start his academic career while in the Air Force Reserves , earned a PHD in Psychology, wrote many books and created / played in various bands. The Classic City Band, and 37th GA Volunteer Regimental Band for re enactments were two he directly created. Movies such as "Glory" where they dressed as Union bandsmen and CDs where music from the South and North (using authentic instruments) were played. A great father and a great friend, he is sorely missed and a rare soul.”
