David Baxter Bentley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Baxter Bentley of Athens, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. B. Bentley and Lois Bentley; his siblings, Shirley Bentley Bryant, Caroline Bentley Lee, William Bentley (Bud) and Billy Ray Bentley; and his granddaughter Paisley Jade Bentley.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Shedd Bentley; his children, Amy Bentley Elrod (Dennis) of Winder and Joshua David Bentley (Jessica) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Hunter Neal Sims, Kaylyn Beth Elrod (Connor), Grayson Avery Bentley and Reagan Jade Bentley; and his siblings, Evelyn Bentley Weatherford, Rebecca Joyce Bentley, Juanita Bentley Jones, Ruby Bentley Phillips and Bobby Joe Bentley.
