It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Peterson of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on December 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peterson and Ruth Peterson of Ocala, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Dusty Peterson; his brother Greg Peterson (Darby) of Dunwoody; and his sons, Brian (Susan) of Hull, Duane (Katharine) of Bishop and Dennis (Amy) of Watkinsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a donation could be made to the youth programs at the YMCA.
