With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della Evans of Athens, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Della shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Della farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband William Maxey; her mother Thelma Evans; her children, Randy Wooten (Jacqueline), Aaviance Evans, Danielle Holloman (Demetrius) and Cedrick Lattimore; her siblings, Julia Evans, Johnny Evans, Pearl Edwards, Sherry McRae and Tommy Evans; and her aunt Mary Sutton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
