She was predeceased by: her father Freddie Edwards; and her grandparents, Thomas and Louise Thornton. She is survived by: her mother Regina Grier; her children, Tayinac Callaway, Antron Thornton and Antoinio Thornton; her sister Akayla Rakestraw (Duke); her niece Yasmine Dixon; and her nephews, Jaylen Rakestraw of Athens, GA and Jamir Rakestraw of Athens, GA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mack's Funeral Home, Elberton Chapel (320 College Ave, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (2479 Lester Rd, Elberton, GA 30634).
