He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Hix McCaughey (Bill) of Milton and Denise Bailey (Danny) of Danielsville; his grandchildren, Courtney Barker (Brad), Tanner Bailey (Candice) and William Bailey (Drew); his great grandchildren, Clara Bailey and Emma Bailey; his brother Dennis Joe Hix (Jackie) of Hartwell; and his niece Angie Hix. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
