She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bettee Elouise Blomgren (Breckenridge) and Col. Holton Eugene Blomgren; her sister Diane Blomgren Sather; her husband Dr. Ralph M. Askren; and her brothers, Dr. Peter F. Blomgren and Philip M. Blomgren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's memory to an animal charity of one's choosing or to the American Cancer Society.
