She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Hokey" Jackson; her siblings, Jim Tom Hunt, Jane Hendren and Rebecca Brown; and her parents, Benjamin F. Hunt and Minnie Mae Hunt.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Becky Hendren of Crawford, Georgia and Kim Hendren (Lynn) of Suches, Georgia; her great-nieces, Stephanie Hendren and Heather Joiner (Jon); McKinley and Teagan Peisel. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Athens Memory Gardens (5195 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
