In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Home (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of her life and legacy, the family asks that donations be made to Hope139 House in Athens, Ga.(http://www.hope139house.org) and or the Perpetual care fund for the Crawford Cemetery.
