He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Wilson Addington and Ernest B. Addington. He is survived by: his children, Casey, Nikki and Dustin (Alyssa); his siblings, Renee Addington Friar (Tim Friar) of Tampa, Florida and Michael Addington (late Judy Addington) of Lyman; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Addington Jr., Blaise Potts, Joshua Addington, Jacob Addington, Stacey Addington and Brandy Fiegal. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (4680 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
