With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freida M Hall Travis of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred William and Dorothy Gertrude Davis Hall; and her husband Dr. James Travis. She is survived by: her children, Randy Travis (Joan), David Travis (Linsey), Teri Travis and Joe Travis (Jeanne); her brothers, Doug and Donald (Jackie Hall); and her nieces and nephews, Beth Jarvis (Steve), Jessica Appling (Scott), Jennifer Colson (Eric), Brandon Hall (Christine) and Cole Hall. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Freida's honor to the Christian Learning Center or Mountain Town Baptist Church, both in Ellijay, GA.
