She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Billie Young; her parents, James Dewey Foster and Gertie Lowe Foster; and her siblings, Vernice Foster Isbell, Dewey Foster, James Edward Foster, Bobby Swain Foster and Roger Clifford Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Young and Sheryl McGowan (Peter); her granddaughters, Kelley Elizabeth Smalley (Zac) and Sarah Austin McGowan; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Rhett and Wyatt Smalley.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johnson Drive Baptist Church or the American Alzheimer's Association.
