She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Knierim and Frank Heuer. She is survived by: her husband Pasquale F. Scordino; her siblings, Butch Heuer (Helena) of Lewes, DE and Patricia Schweikert (Thomas) of Central Islip; her daughters, Linda Dohrenwend (Gerard) of Highland, NY, Annette Ludwig (Ralf) of Athens, GA and Amy Schabilon (David) of Clearwater, FL; her grandchildren, Eric, Paul, Natasha, Alex, Jean-Luc, Tomas, Gabriella, Leo and Owen; and her friends, Bobbi and Joan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Copeland-Hammerl Funeral Home (162 S Putt Corners Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's name can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
