Jacqueline W. Mathes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline W. Mathes of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on April 16, 2022 at the age of 107. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacqueline W. Mathes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Martha Anita Mathes Hopper (Barron), Rachel Clarke Mathes and Elizabeth Ann Mathes. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beecher Mathes; and her granddaughters, Jacqueline Ruth Hopper James (Mark) of Stanfield, NC and Rachel Barron Hopper Caughran (Jeremiah) of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, as well as 7 surviving nieces and nephews.
