He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Coleman, Sr. and Sarah Jimmerson Coleman; his son Jeffrey Scott Coleman; and his brother Charles Ronald Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Jean Witcher Coleman; his daughter Jill Shannon Coleman; and his nephews, Charles and Alex Coleman.
