She was predeceased by: her husband William Arthur Gilbert, Jr.; her parents, Hugh Culbreth and Roselle Griffith Culbreth; her son William A. Gilbert, III; her stepdaughter Cathy Kindness; and her sister Barbara C. Wolfe.
She is survived by: her son Freddy Gilbert (Pam); her grandchildren, Molly Rose Gilbert and William Arthur Gilbert, IV; her nephews, Mack Wolfe (Betty) and David Wolfe; and her close friends, Brenda Wall and Mable West.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Salem Baptist Church Grounds and Cemetery Fund, 694 Salem Church Rd, Lexington, GA 30648.
