She was predeceased by: her husband Dwight Neal; her parents, Calvin Emory Chalker and Tommie Miller Chalker; and her stepmother Jane McCorkle Chalker. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Neal (Karen) and Selena Culwell (Curtis); and her grandchildren, Brad Culwell (Andrea), Megan Culwell, Jake Neal, Josh Neal (Aubrey), Caroline Partridge (Charlie), Wes Culwell and Jonah Neal. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Nursery Ministry of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
