He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Lamar McPherson, Sr. and Jemaris Staton; and his grandson Trey McPherson. He is survived by: his wife Rita L. McPherson; his daughter Amanda McPherson McCarty; his stepchildren, Christa Faircloth, Deanna Faircloth and Andrew Carver; and his siblings, Jackie Kendall, Mary Ann Tidmore, Kenny McPherson and John Staton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 great grand children, and 8 nieces and nephews.
