She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Nelson and Doretta Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Norman; and her children, Amy Chancey (David), Sara Blose (James), Beth Day (Mike) and Matthew Gould (Karen). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Acres Baptist Church, the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia, or the Gideons International.
