Judith Saye Fleming Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Judith Saye Fleming of Athens, Georgia is shared. Judith, born on July 7, 1950, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Saye and Margery Saye; and her husband Barry Fleming. She is survived by: her daughters, Kate Fleming of Shawnee and Sara Martin of Athens; her grandchildren, Craig, Carson, Serenity, James and Emma; her caregiver Jill Dawson (Rick); and her nieces, Laura Ullrich (Brian) and Emily Miller (Paul). She is also survived by five great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Of Athens Fellowship Hall (355 Pulaski St, Athens, GA 30601).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation or the Journalism Excellence Fund at the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
