She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jefferson Pitts and Katharine Smith Pitts; and her brother James Jefferson Pitts, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Travis Cooper (Julia) and Kristina Castillo (Daniel); her grandchildren, Keneth Castillo, Lucy Cooper, Liam Cooper and Lexi Cooper; her sister Susan Hitch (Rusty); her sister-in-law Jenna Pitts; her nephew Bob Hitch (Angela); her niece Katharine Bond (Austin); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sierra Bond, Cassie Hitch, Caroline Bond, David Hitch and Eli Hitch.
