With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Malcolm Stanley Cummings (Athens, Georgia), who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alwyn Budd and Ruey Marie Cummings; his wife Elizabeth Rae; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Cummings Whittemore (Howard Whittemore) and Alwyn Buhl Cummings (Lois Tyson Cummings); and his son-in-law Kenneth Ray Greemann.
He is survived by: his brother Robert Bradley Cummings (Loretta); his son David Allen Cummings; his daughter-in-law Caren Smith Cummings; and his daughter Deborah Cummings Greemann. He is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to missionary friends David and Karin Brown to further their work evangelizing and equipping Zulu women in South Africa by sharing the gospel and helping them become economically self-supporting through knitting.
