Maribeth Leigh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maribeth Leigh of Athens, Georgia, born in Wood River, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nicholas Skundrich and Margaret Skundrich; her husband Thomas Walter Leigh of Professor Emeritus, UGA; her son Thomas Brian Leigh (Mary Catherine) of Macon, GA; her granddaughters, Zoe and Sophie; her sister Rebecca Kemming (Steve); and her niece Samantha Flaherty (Nate).
