He was predeceased by: his father Gene Hammond. He is survived by: his mother Susie Hammond of Athens, GA; his sisters, Terri Krucina of Martinez, GA, Toni Meadow (Tony) of Athens, GA and Tammi Amason (Mark) of Elberton, GA; his aunt Pat Greene; and his cousins, Sandra Gettis and Susan Jenkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Michael's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your local humane society.
