He is survived by: his mother Glenda Murphy Brogdon; his stepfather Richard Brogdon; his grandchildren, Finn Murphy and Aubrie Murphy; his stepdaughter Jessica Erin Ruiz (Pedro); his siblings, Richard Darin Murphy (Sharon), Jamie Murphy Cheatham (Andy), Tara Murphy Graham (Gawen) and Chanda Murphy Leffler (Joe); his pet Turbo; Sadie Murphy Tamplin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Church (1368 Ebenezer Church Rd, Jefferson, GA 30549).
