We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 77, Mildred Bryan King (Athens, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris M. Bryan, Jr. and Eileen Hennebry Bryan; and her sister Eileen Bryan Corbett. She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Shade Storey (Miranda) of Jefferson, GA and Mimi Young (Michael) of Monroe, GA.; her grandchildren, Emma, Ethan Storey of Jefferson and Bailey Williamson of Monroe; and her siblings, Morris M. Bryan III (Angela) of Greer, Stephen Bryan (Lisa) of Walpole, Joseph Bryan (Cinda) of Billings, Montana, Kathleen Brandhofer-Bryan of Berlin and Virginia H. Bryan (Tim Campos) of Groton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jefferson City School Foundation, Morris M. Bryan Jr. Scholarship.
