She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Kate Tillery and William Glover Singleton; her former husband Kirby W. Alexander; her husband Onie Lewis Jackson; her daughter Bonnie Ann Nessmith; her grandsons, Charlie Nessmith and Matthew Jackson; and her siblings, Bill Singleton and Suzane Singleton Coats Boschetto.
She is survived by: her children, Judice McKenzie of Birmingham and David Jackson (Teresa) of Kettering, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Amy "Ann Marie" Gibbs (Kevin) of Harahan, LA, Jamie York (Dara) of Hoover, AL, Lauren Bostic of Haysi, VA and Cindy Nessmith of Athens, GA. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
