Paul Dennis Hill Obituary

Paul Dennis "Denny" Hill, of Athens, Georgia, passed away August 29, 2018. Born on January 23, 1948, Denny was the youngest child of William Paul Hill and Ruth Kesler Hill, both who preceded him in death. Denny Hill was an innovative residential planner, ahead of his time. He is known for his brilliant talent and remarkable craftsmanship.

He graduated from UGA with an A.B. Degree and advanced study in post graduate program in Urban Planning and Location Theory. He impacted Athens greatly within the residential construction and development industry and brought many 'first' concepts to Athens. He was the creator of many Athens neighborhoods and communities that so many of us call home.

He was loved by his family. Survivors include wife, Faye Hill; son, Ashley Hill and daughter-in-law, Stacy Hill; daughter, Melissa Hill; son, Wesley Hill; daughter, Crystal Hill; grandchildren, Hudson, Parker, Isella, Riley, Landen, Hunter, and Alex; sisters, Ruby Bowden and Glenda Oxford; nephews, Newton and Bill Bowden; and niece, Jeannie Oxford.

Graveside Memorial will be held Friday, September 7 at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
