He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gentry Armstrong; his children, Scot Armstrong (Donna) and Shannon Fielder (Tim); his grandchildren, Mary Caroline, Griffin, Anne Marie, Jack, Finn and Hudson; and his siblings, Janice Collins (Jenner), David Armstrong (Vicki), Larry Armstrong (Johnnie) and Barry Armstrong.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chancellor Funeral Home (2576 US 49, Florence, MS 39073). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the same location.
