He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Duncan and Ammie Lee Roach Duncan; his wife Helen Cromer Duncan; and his brothers, Joe and Frank Duncan.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Laskey of Marietta, Sibyl Ginn (Michael) of Athens and Dale Duncan (Kimberly) of Athens; and his sister Jean Bass of Marietta. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
