We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2026, Robert Stokes Marable (Athens, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Yukiko Kimura Marable; his parents, Andru Verne Marable and Mary Clair Barnett Marable; and his siblings, William Zed Marable (Virginia) and Mary Verne Marable Watts (William).
He is survived by: his son Robert Blane Marable; his daughter-in-law Judy Elaine Andrews Marable; his granddaughter Mary Ashley Marable Young (Tim Young); his great grandchildren, Caleb James Young and Landon Robert Young of Fredericksburg, Virginia.; and his brother Andru Verne Marable II (Janice Lee Marable) of Bishop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a bunch of cousins.
