He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ashley and Jessie Mae Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hawkins Ashley; his sons, Ronald Glenn Ashley and Kevin Harper Ashley (Claire); his grandchildren, Harper Ashley and Meg Ashley; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Hall and Janet Ashley.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Athens Memory Gardens (5195 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
