He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lewis Whitehead and Hazel Cheatam Whitehead. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Young Whitehead; his daughter Brooke Whitehead (Logan McKissick); his brothers, James Whitehead, Johnny Whitehead and Donnie Whitehead; and his grandchildren, Keaton McKissick, Trey and Maddie Patterson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oconee Chapel (2370 Hog Mountain Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (2370 Hwy 53, Watkinsville, GA 30677).
