Marines; her husband Malcolm; her sons, Jason Chad Mercer (Ashley) and Brandon Blake Mercer (Julie); her grandchildren, Avery Lynn Mercer, Austin Chad Mercer, Kelsey Jane Mercer, Mason Blake Mercer and Nathan Ellis Mercer; and her sister Sylvia Elaine Steed Hencinski (Bob).
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bernstein Funeral Home (3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel (3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606).
