It is with sadness that the passing of Terri Alewine of Athens, Georgia is shared. Terri, born on June 11, 1970, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Terri will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Terri by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Terri is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Terri’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her mother Polly Alewine. She is survived by: her children, Lindsay Slaughter (Ethan) and Ryan Davison; her father Sammy Alewine; her brother Todd Alewine (Connie); and her grandchildren, Chesley, Evie and Hazel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In addition to sending flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House in her memory.
