He is survived by: his father Walter Kenneth "Buddy" Farmer, Sr. of Athens; his daughters, Hannah Turpin (Jake) of Commerce and Haley Heredia (Jael) of Athens; his grandchildren, Lynley Marie Turpin of Commerce and Jaylee Naomi Heredia of Athens; and his stepsiblings, Michael David Farmer of Jacksonville and Barbara Lee Dickson of Royston.
