He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Gravely, Sr. and Julia Stone Gravely of Seneca, SC.; his brother Walter Gravely, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Gravely. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann McCrackin; his children, James Michael Gravely (Susan) of Watkinsville, GA and Virginia Gravely Stanley (John) of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Kathryn Gravely, William Gravely (Caroline) of Athens, Andrew Stanley (Rachel) of Decatur, Austin Stanley of Atlanta, Patrick Cleary (Melanie) of Raleigh, NC and Andrew Cleary of Smyrna, GA; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Middlebrooks, Clara Gravely, Robert Gravely and Foster Stanley.
