He is survived by: his children, Tyvone Carey, Chelsea Kelley-Mack (Timothy), Kiana Sims and Brent Life, Sr.; his grandchildren, Jeremi Moore, Christian Hull, Layla Life, Kylee Barnes, Brent Life, Jr., Areil Barnes, Trent Life and Kori-Ann Abrams; his sisters, Edna Sims Jennings, Judy Richardson (Dennis), Betty Sims (David) and Debbie Sims; his nephews, Demond Stovall, Sr., David Walker (Deveda), Taron Jennings, Tyrell Jennings and Deion Sims; and his niece Letoria Thompson. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
