Alene Bowling Crosby Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alene Bowling Crosby of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Crosby; her parents, Thomas S. Bowling and Mattie A. Bowling; and her brother James W. Bowling. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl C. Findlay, Angela A. Crosby and Philip J. Crosby; her granddaughter Sarah F. Drushal (Dillon); and her siblings, Mary Ann Hill, Zelna Metcalf, Janice Brown, George Bowling, Frank Bowling and Russell Bowling. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crosby Chapel Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Crosby Chapel Church, 3135 Crosby Chapel Church Rd. Baxley, GA 31513 in Mrs. Crosby's honor.
