She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerardine Ogilby and Albert Edwin Evans; and her husband Fleming "Bud" Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Ogilby Boyd (Elaine) of Metter, GA, David Hammond Boyd (Barbara) of Peachtree Corners, GA, James William Boyd of New Harbor, ME and Anne Boyd Stoer (Charlie Lahr) of Denver, CO.; her grandchildren, Melanie Boyd Martin, Stephanie Boyd Evors, Billie Boyd, Devin Boyd, Claire Stroer Bryant and David Stroer; and her great grandchild Matthew Martin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the As Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship fund of the Garden Club of Georgia.
