She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerardine Ogilby and Albert Edwin Evans; and her husband Fleming "Bud" Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Ogilby Boyd (Elaine) of Metter, GA, David Hammond Boyd (Barbara) of Peachtree Corners, GA, James William Boyd of New Harbor, ME and Anne Boyd Stroer (Charlie Lahr) of Denver, CO.; her grandchildren, Melanie Boyd Martin, Stephanie Boyd Evors, Billie Boyd, Devin Boyd, Claire Stroer Bryant and David Stroer; and her great grandchild Matthew Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship fund of the Garden Club of Georgia.
